Location: Berkhamsted, Hertfordshire
Client: Mr & Mrs Whitaker
Value: Confidential

Planning permission has been granted (May 2014) for both a rear extension and attic conversion to this property within the Berkhamsted Conservation Area.

The converted attic will become the master bedroom and will have a dormer window overlooking the rear garden. Alterations to the first floor will allow for the construction of a new staircase to the attic whilst retaining three bedrooms on this floor.

The new rear extension will be utilised as the kitchen and will have bi-folding doors leading out to the rear garden. The extension is to be constructed in brickwork to match the existing brickwork and will have a pitched roof clad in traditional slate tiles.
